The comman error which we face everyday on Citrix Xenapp and Xendesktop is Cannot start app.
We can find several article on citrix to fix this issue however i am mentioning few more steps which i have faced in production infra.
1) VDA machine is registered however if it is in maintenance mode then we will get this error.
2) Machine is showing unregistered
In my case machine was showing unregistered and when i was using XDPing utility to find root cause of this issue , it was showing kerberos error.
I found that there was time difference between both DDC and VDA server due to which it was showing unregistered.

So i changed time of VDA server same as on DDC server and then restarted Citrix Desktop service on VDA server.Machine again got registered and issue got fixed.
